Class 9 admission process for the Navodaya Vidyalaya begins

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti or NVS is inviting the applications for admission in class 9 (vacant seats) for the academic year 2020-21.Steps to apply for Navodaya admission 2020 Online application form for the class 9 admission is available on the official website of the NVS -- nvsadmissionclassnine.in. Candidates can visit the official website, fill the form and submit it.The last date to apply for the Class 9 lateral entry test is December 10, 2019. Selection process for Navodaya admission 2020 The selection test for admission to Class 9 will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2020, in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the concerned district.The results of the exam will be notified via the application portal through which the application is submitted.Results will be notified on the Vidyalaya Notice Board as well as on the websites of the concerned JNVs. Selected candidates will also be intimated by Speed Post and SMS.Details of the marks obtained in the test will not be communicated and there is no provision for re-checking/re-totaling. Selection in the test does not guarantee admission into JNV. Candidates will be required to produce all the relevant certificated such as birth certificate, pass certificate of 8th class with mark sheets, SC/ST certificate, if any, as prescribed by NVS for the admission. Candidates will be considered for the admission only into that Vidyalaya for which they have appeared in the Selection Test.Medium of the exam will be Hindi and English and students will be required to fill the OMR sheet.
