ICAI begins registrations for the CA exam due in May
The registrations for the ICAI ’s CA exam which is due in May have begun. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will conduct the exams for the CA Foundation, CA Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate and Final examinations from May 2 to May 18. Candidates who are interested in appearing for the exam can visit the official website and apply for the exam.ICAI will also conduct the International Trade Laws and World Trade Organisation (ITL& WTO), Part I Examination and International Taxation- Assessment Test. CA exam will be conducted by the ICAI at 207 centers across the nation along with the five centers at overseas — Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu and Muscat. Students who wish to enter the profession should enroll in the Foundation course offered by the institute. Students can enroll in the Foundation course after completing their class 12th. Earlier, ICAI used to hold the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) for admission to the CA course but under the new scheme, the exam was replaced by the Foundation course.
