MNIT Youth Fest: A conglomeration of sports, literature and Swaraag’s musical flavor
MNIT’s youth fest is one of the most awaited events among the students of the Jaipur as it includes various activities such as dance, sports, literary events and many more. One of the most awaited events of the fest is the band night where a renowned band performs in front of the college students and this year it was Swaraag. Swaraag is a globally renowned band for spreading the flavors of the Indian music to other parts of the world. Their specialty lies in creating modern music using the traditional instrument which caught the students and audience off-guard as the band mesmerized the audience with a great fusion of Indo - Western music. For the spectators, this was a spectacular and one of a kind performance as most the band heavily relies on rock music to cheer their audience. The success of the band’s performance was visible as the whole arena echoed in chorus with ‘once more’. The youth fest was organized by the MNIT from Jan 11-13 2019. Apart from the cultural activities this fest also provides an open platform to the young minds of the MNIT to discuss their ideas and viewpoints about the Indian philosophy, culture and value system.
