JEE Mains and NEET exams are held for admissions to undergraduate courses in engineering and medicine and the new dates of both the exams will be announced on May 5. Earlier, these exams were scheduled in May-April however, the schedule was disturbed due to lockdown and coronavirus outbreak. On May 5, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' will also conduct a webinar and will interact with the students. "The fresh dates will be announced by HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ''Nishank'' on May 5. This will put an end to uncertainty for the aspirants. The minister will also interact with students online the same day," a senior ministry official said. After the announcement, National Testing Agency will notify the dates on its official website. Earlier, everyone was speculating that JEE Main and NEET exam will be conducted in May-end when the lockdown was supposed to end on April 14. With the announcement of the dates for the entrance exams, the board exam dates will also be finalized.
