IELTS exam made easy for the nurses and midwives professionals
Indian who wish to work as nurse or midwife in the UK has a golden opportunity as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the United Kingdom has announced changes in the English language proficiency test required for the foreign nationals who wish to work in the country. Under the new changes, nurses and midwives professionals will now require to score 7.0 (minimum) in the IELTS. However, a score of 6.5 in the writing section will be accepted alongside the score of 7.0 in reading, listening and speaking sections of the test. The British Council consider this as a great opportunity for the Indians who wish to work in the UK in the nursing profession. IELTS measures four key languages skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing and is the most widely used test of English for migration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. It is also recognized by all the leading universities, schools, employers and immigration bodies.
