New dates announced for the exams by AMU
Fresh dates for the remaining exams have been announced by the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). As mentioned in the notification, remaining exams in Faculty of Unani Medicine and Z H College of Engineering and Technology, barring B. Tech and B.E final year will commence from January 27 and the examinations at the Faculty of Medicine will commence from February 1 and final year B. Tech and B.E examination will commence from February 10.Exams for the Faculties of Law, Commerce, Science, Life Sciences, Management Studies and Agricultural Sciences will commence from January 30.For the faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, International Studies and Theology, Polytechnics and the Community College, the remaining exams will commence from February 3.The exams had begun before the winter vacations and were postponed as the protests by the students turned violent. Students of AMU were trying to hold a march for their counterparts in JMI university who had faced a police crackdown after their protest ended in a pitched battle with cops.
