Students from Kashmir can now apply for FTII, SRFTI Entrance Exam
Under special provisions, students from Kashmir can apply for the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) entrance exam. Interested candidates can apply for the exam and fill the form in offline mode as internet facilities are still not available in the valley. The facility to apply for the exam in offline mode has been made possible in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.Interested candidates can now obtain the copies of application forms from the office of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), Lalmandi, Srinagar. Candidates can pay form fee using a Demand Draft at KAACL's Lal Mandi office during working hours, on or before January 31.The entrance test is scheduled to be held on February 15 and February 16 in two sessions. Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata and Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune are the leading institutes in the nation for learning the art of film making.
