Sainik School Entrance exam results due in February
The Sainik School Society has successfully conducted the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2020. Now that the entrance exams are over, the results for the same are due in February. The entrance exams were held for admission to class 6 and class 9.For class 6 students, the entrance test carried a total of 300 marks and for the class 9 student, the test carried a total of 400 marks.For class 6 students, the medium of exam was English, Hindi and the recognized official language of the state of student's residence however, for the class 9 students the exam was conducted only in English language.According to the schedule, the evaluation of the answer scripts will be completed between January 12 and January 20, 2020. The final merit list after the evaluation will be released between February 3 and February 7.Traditionally, sainik schools only admit male candidates however, now now application process is also open for the girls at Sainik Schools in Bijapur, Chandrapur, Ghorakhal, Kalikiri and Kodagu.
