UGC NET 2018 | UGC opened the window for NET 2018 form correction
UGC has opened the window for the candidates to make any corrections in UGC NET 2018 application form. Candidates who wished to do so can visit the official website -- ntanet.nic.in -- and make the necessary changes (if any). The last date for the window to close is October 14 2018. UGC NET 2018 exam is scheduled from December 9 to 23, 2018 and will be held in 84 different subjects across various test centers in 91 selected cities. The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidate Assistant Professor post only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or both. The admit cards for the exam will be available to download from November 19 and the results for the same will be released on January 10, 2019. New exam pattern for the UGC NET 2018 From 2018 onward, the exam will be conducted by the NTA (National testing Agency) and in place of three papers, only 2 papers -- paper 1 and paper 2 -- will be conducted. Paper 1 -- Paper 1 will be of 100 marks and will contain 50 objective type questions. Each question will be general in nature (related to teaching/research aptitude of the candidate) and will carry 2 marks. The duration of the same will be one hour (9:30 am to 10:30 am) Paper 2 -- It will be of 100 marks and will contain 100 objective type compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and will be based on the subject opted by the candidate. The duration of the same will be two hours (11 am to 1 pm).
