Answer key for the UGC NET 2019 December exam to be released soon
Candidates who successfully appeared for the UGC NET December 2019 exam on December 6 are now awaiting the preliminary answer key of the exam. The exam was conducted by the NTA and the agency is expected to release the answer key soon. Around 10 lakh candidates appeared for the exam which was held in the computer-based mode.NTA will release the provisional answer key for the exam along with the candidate’s recorded response. After the release of the provisional answer keys, candidates will have a window of 2-3 days for raising objections against the answer key. For every objection raised, candidates will be required to pay INR 1000 as a processing fee.After reviewing all the challenges, NTA will publish the final answer key which will be used to prepare candidates’ raw score which then will be normalized as the exam was conducted in multiple shifts.The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of a candidate for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or for recruitment as Assistant Professors.
