JEE Main 2019 will be conducted in online mode

The registrations are going on for the JEE Mains 2019 exam and NTA will conduct the first JEE Mains 2019 exam in the month of January. From 2019, the JEE Mains exam will be conducted in online mode only. Earlier, students had the option of choosing whether they want to appear for the exam in pen and paper mode or online mode. JEE Mains paper 1 which will be conducted for the B.Tech courses will be conducted in online mode only and paper II which is for the B.Arch./B.Planning will be in the pen and paper mode. Paper II has three parts. Paper I and Paper II which are of Mathematics and Aptitude test will be conducted online and the Paper III which is a drawing test will be conducted in offline mode on drawing sheet. JEE Mains 2019 in January will be conducted from January 6 to January 20 in two sessions and Paper III will be held in only one session and students will be required to complete the exam in one sitting only. JEE Main II will be conducted in April. A students does not have to appear in both the exams and in case he/she appears then the best score of the two will be considered for the admission purposes.
