A career counseling agency in Sector-62 of Noida duped the students of lakhs of rupees in the name of securing admissions in the medical colleges for them. After realizing that the agency was a fraud, students gathered outside the agency and started protesting. Due to intense heated whether two female protesters lost their consciousness. Students also told that the director of the agency has never met with any of the students and trapped the students by showing a fraudulent website. All the higher-ups of the agency disappeared in thin air as soon as they came to know about the protest and realized that their scam has been exposed. The staff of the agency told that they have not received their salary for last three months and when they came to know about the sham of the agency they also joined the students in their protest. Pankaj Rai, SHO of Police Station Sector-58 said that students have reported their complaint against the agency and soon the police will start their job after submitting an FIR. Sudhanshu, one of the victim students of the agency, told that the owner of the agency called him and told that the agency has a tie-up with the Medical Council of India and can get him admitted into any medical college of the nation and asked him to meet at the Noida office. At the Noida office, they demanded 10-20 lakh in the name of MCI letter, token money and complete one-year fees of the college admission. When he reached the college with the letter from MCI he came to know about the scam of the company.
