With AI slowly entering our life and company’s businesses it is expected that the new IT field will have a positive impact on the employment scenario as it will create new job profiles besides enhancing employee engagement, a report said on September 6. The report was published by the ‘Tata Communications’ and is based on the inputs from 120 global business leaders. According to the report, the AI will even further diversify the human thinking and not replace it. According to the statistics provided by the report: 90 percent of the leaders agree that cognitive diversity is very important for the effective management75 percent of the leaders believe that new job profiles will emerge with more advancements in the field93 percent believes that AI will enhance the decision making "While AI will replace some tasks, it will also create new ways of working, new jobs and new roles in companies. AI will also help people, as well as organizations, become more productive. It's not man vs machine, rather man and machine working together," Tata Communications CEO and MD Vinod Kumar told PTI. As the AI advances it will free the employees from the repetitive and mundane tasks and help them focus more on the innovation and communication with the peers. "Work will move from being task-based to strategic, enabling workers to enhance their curiosity and creative thinking," it added. Professor Ken Goldberg, a leading AI researcher at UC Berkeley said “there is fear now that AI will surpass human thinking and that machines are superior to humans. Robots and AI are not going to take away this creative, insightful, an empathetic aspect of almost every job”
