Second merit list for the FYJC postponed
Earlier, the second merit list for the First Year Junior College’s (FYJC) was scheduled to be released today but following the HC orders, the list has been postponed to July 19. The official merit lists for the regions of Mumbai, Pune, Amravarti, Nagpur, Nashik and Aurangabad will be available on their respective websites. However; the merit list for the Mumbai and Pune will be available at mumbai.11thadmission.net and pune.11thadmission.net. The first merit list was released on July 7 and according to the reports, nearly 2.3 lakh candidates applied for the seats of which 1.2 lakh candidates were allotted the seats. After the first round, about 50,000 seats have already been filled and students can check the vacancy status and cut-off of the first merit list on the website. This year, the cut-off remains high for the colleges as top scorers have raised the bar in many sought-after colleges for the seats. In the first round of seat allotment, about 1.2 lakh applicants were allotted seats in junior colleges in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
