Application process for the Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya to commence today

The application process for the Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya for the class 6 admissions has commenced. Candidates can visit the official website -- navodaya.gov.in and fill the form. The registrations commenced today i.e November 1, 2018 and the last date to submit the application form is November 30, 2018. The entrance exam for the same will be held on April 6, 2019. The application process is completely online and after filling the details in the form, candidate will be given registration number and password which they are expected to keep safe until the exam on April 6, 2019. In the second step of the registrations, candidates are require to submit a scanned copy of photograph and documents. The admit cards for the exam will be released online and candidates will be able to access their respective admit cards using the registration number and password given to them. The results will be announced in the last week of May 2019. Apart from good scores, documents also play a vital role in the selection of the student. Last year, more than 20 lakh students applied for the admissions. There are 626 JNV schools in the nation and all of them are functional.
