Up until now, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was the prime authority for conducting the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), but from next year, the responsibility has been shifted to newly formed National Testing Agency. Candidates who will clear the test will be eligible to seek admission into the Master’s programs in the field of Pharmacy. The application process for the same has commenced from today i.e. November 1, 2018 and candidates who are interested in applying for the exam can visit the official website -- ntagpat.nic.in for the application process. GPAT is a three hour exam which is conducted every year and the scores of the exam are considered by the colleges affiliated and approved by AICTE. Candidates will be given 4 marks for each correct answer. A total of 841 institutions participate in GPAT, offering about 24,096 seats for candidates.
