JEE Main 2019: Application process for the April exam begins
The application process for the JEE Main exam which is scheduled in April 2019 will begin today. The JEE Main exam in April will be the second entrance exam for the academic year 2019-20. Students can appear either in both or in both of the exams. If a student decides to appear in both exams then best of the score will be considered for all practical purposes. The pattern and mode for the exam scheduled in April will remain the same as that of the exam which was held in January 2019. Students who wish to practice the tests in a real scenario can either appear for the mock tests available on the NTA website and or they can visit the designated Test Practice Centers (TPCs). The exam is conducted for admission to IIITs, NITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) and State Funded Technical Institutes (SFTIs). Earlier, JEE exam was conducted only once a year and in pen-paper mode. But after the NTA taking the charge this year, the will be conducted on a bi-annual basis and in computer-based mode. Once the application process is over for the second JEE Mains exam, details regarding the exam center and exam shift will be released by the NTA.
