Next UGC NET exam scheduled in June: NTA
The next edition of the National Eligibility Test (NET) will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in June. Earlier, the exam was conducted under the aegis of CBSE and is used to determine the candidate’s eligibility for Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The UGC NET exam conducted in December 2018 was first the NET exam conducted by the NTA since its establishment. According to the official announcements, the next UGC NET exam will be conducted in June and just like its predecessor it will be a computer-based test. Similar to the previous exam, there will be two papers in the upcoming NET exam. Paper 1 - teaching and research aptitude Paper 2 - subject-specific paper The registration window for the exam will open on March 1, 2019, and will remain open until March 30, 2019. Candidates interested in applying for the exam will be required to visit the official website -- ntanet.nic.in. The admit cards for the exam will be released on May 15 and exam will be conducted in multiple shifts on June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28.
