Government directed KV premises to be available for COVID-19 isolation

Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', the Minister for Human Resource Development, has directed KV schools to provide their buildings to local administration for isolating the Corona virus suspects.PM tweeted about the same and said that the building will be available upon request as a quarantine facility. कोरोना वायरस की गंभीरता को देखते हुए यह निर्णय लिया गया है कि पूरे देश में आवश्यकता पड़ने पर केंद्रीय विद्यालयों को कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव के लिये क्वारनटाइन हेतु तुरंत स्थानीय प्रशासन को उपलब्ध कराया जाए।@narendramodi@PMOIndia@drharshvardhan@MoHFW_INDIA@KVS_HQ— Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank (@DrRPNishank) March 27, 2020Classrooms of KV schools will only be made available by the KVS upon receiving a formal request from any Defence Authority or District Administration, the Dy. Commissioner/I/C Dy. Commissioner/ any other senior-most officer of region/Principal of KV concerned.Earlier, the government has decided to use the classrooms of JNV schools for temporary medical facilites or quarantine campus of isolation. JNVs where migrated students are staying are exempted from this order.
