Madhya Pradesh government to promote students without exams

Madhya Pradesh government has decided to promote all students to the next class without exams except for the students of class 10th and 12th. Exams of classes 10th and 12th  have been carried forward due to lockdown and corona virus outbreak.An official spokesman said “Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday night reviewed measures to tackle the coronavirus pandemic and decided to promote students of all classes of the state schools, except 10th and 12th board”."The 10th and 12th board examinations will be carried forward and general promotions will be given to students of all other classes," the official said. During 1984 Bhopal tragedy, the state government had also given general promotion to all the students of all classes except for the students of board exams.Mr. Chouhan has also decided to provide ration free of cost to the poor during the coming three months.
