Chartered Accountants (CA) final results released by ICAI



The final results of the Chartered Accountants (CA) have been announced by the ICAI. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can visit the official website -- icai.org to check the results. Under the new scheme, a total of 5125 candidates have qualified the exam and under the old scheme 9446 candidates have qualified the CA exam.Direct link for ICAI final results: http://caresults.icai.org/icai_results/index.phpThe results of the Information Systems Audit [ISA] Assessment Test have also been released by the ICAI on December 28, 2019.The results of the foundation and intermediate papers are expected to be declared in February. Candidates can check the results by using their roll number and PIN or they can also use their registration number.CA exams are conducted by ICAI twice every year -- November and May. The schedule for the May 2020 exam has been released by the ICAI. The exam will be held from May 2 to May 18 and the application window for the same will remain open from February 5 to February 26. The results of the exams (My edition) are likely to be announced in August.

The results of the CSI NET exam has been released by the National Testing Agency today. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can visit the official website -- csirnet.nta.nic.in and check their exam scores. The exam was conducted by the NTA on behalf of CSIR on December 15 and candidates can access their results by entering their registration details. The National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the result for the NEET MDS 2020 exam. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can visit the official website and check the results. NBE has released the overall rank and scores of the students. "Cut-off scores will be reviewed, as per Dental Council of India, Master of Dental Surgery Course (1st Amendment) Regulations, 2018 once the exact number of category-wise vacancies are made available to NBE by Dental Council of India," said the NBE in the result notice.Every question in the NEET MDS exam was reviewed by the concerned specialist after conducting the exam to ensure the technical correctness of the question."As per inputs from the faculty members, a total of 2 questions were found to be technically incorrect. Full marks have been awarded to all the candidates for these two questions irrespective of the fact whether these questions have been attempted or left unattempted by the candidates," it adds.NEET MDS is an exam to shortlist the candidates for admission to Masters in Dental Surgery course. Candidates who have completed their Bachelors in Dental course are eligible to appear for the exam.

IGNOU University has launched Web Enabled Academic Support (WEAS) for the students. The portal will act as one-stop support for the students who need help with their academic programs. The portal will also guide students with different aspects such as pre-entry, admission, program induction, study material distribution, supplementary study materials, learning, and counseling, assignments, pre-examination and examination and many more.The portal also includes self-learning course material, video, quiz and discussion forum to make the learning process more interactive for the students."The innovative features of WEAS scheme includes Virtual Learning by bringing distance learners and teachers on a single platform, enabling self-paced learning irrespective of time and distance separation," said the Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU.The scheme was launched on a pilot basis for the students of Post Graduate Certificate in Agriculture Policy (PGCAP), Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Science (PGDSS) and Post Graduate in Pharmaceutical Sales Management (PGDPSM) and now it is being extended to other programs as well.The scheme would be available to learners free of cost. "It will not only save a lot of money spent on the counseling sessions, but it will also ensure timely academic support by the program coordinators directly to the learners by the IGNOU faculty," the university said.

The answer key for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can now visit the official website and download the answer key. Candidates can also raise objections regarding the answer key. The last date to raise the objections is January 17. Punjab government to fill various teaching and non-teaching posts in the Education department



On Tuesday, the Punjab government decided to fill 3,186 posts in the teaching and non-teaching domain in the education department. The main aim of the move is to fill the major gap in the school staff which will help in improving the standard of education in the Punjab schools, an official spokesperson said after a meeting of the Cabinet.CM also stressed the need for improving the school curriculum to make the students job-ready. He stressed the importance of vocational teachings and said that vocational courses have been introduced in various fields, such as hospitality and mobile phone repair etc.Giving a nod to the proposal of the School Education Department, the Cabinet gave nod to fill 132 posts of Deputy District Education Officer, Principal of Government Senior Secondary Schools, 311 Headmasters or Headmistresses, 2,182 masters or mistresses in various subjects, 32 Block Primary Education Officers (BPEOs), 500 Elementary Trained Teachers, four law officers and 25 legal assistants.The annual financial implication of the move will be INR 42 crore per annum approximately. However, after the completion of the probation period employees will be given the full scale and the annual financial implication will be Rs 197 crore per annum approximately, said the spokesperson.

NTA will open the application correction window for the NEET 2020 exam today. Applicants will be allowed to make the corrections in their application form, if required, from January 15 till January 31, 2020. Candidates will have to visit the official website to make corrections in their application form. According to the data shared by the NTA a total of 15,93,452 candidates have registered for the NEET 2020 exam.The exam is conducted by the NTA for shortlisting the candidates for MBBS and BDS courses in the colleges recognized by the MCI.
