Karnataka government soon to declare First Year PU Results

Karnataka government soon to declare First Year PU Results

Karnataka Department of Pre-University Education will soon declare the results of the First year Pre-University. According to the reports, the result will be released on the registered mobile number of the students. A report has asked the colleges not to release the result of the students on the notice boards. The measure has been taken to avoid gathering of the students. Students who are not able to clear the exam will be given a chance to appear for the supplementary exam and further details on the same will be released in due time. "After the declaration of results, colleges can conduct online classes for students who are eligible to attend second year PU classes," the report added. Exams of class 10th students and PU second year (higher secondary or class 12) are still pending. They were disrupted because of the coronavirus breakdown and subsequent lockdown. Education minister said that SSLC exams in the state will be conducted as this is a crucial stage in a student’s life. "We will consider it (SSLC examinations) when the situation becomes normal," The New Indian Express quoted the minister as saying. Updates regarding the PU second year exams will be conveyed in due time.
