Application window for GATE 2020 is available only for students from Jammu and Kashmir
The application window for the GATE 2020 exam is available again but only for the students from Jammu and Kashmir. GATE test is conducted to select candidates for admission to M.Tech./M.E. programs offered at technical institutes in India. The application window for the GATE 2020 exam was closed on October 5 but the link has been activated again to facilitate the students from Jammu and Kashmir.The application window will close on November 8, 2019.Meanwhile, the form correction window for the GATE 2020 exam is opened and candidates who have already applied for the exam can make minor corrections in the application form they have filled earlier.The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 1, 2, 8, and 9, 2020 and the admit cards for the same will be released on January 3, 2020 on the official website.The exam is conducted for 25 subjects in a computer-based test format. Apart from admission to higher education, GATE scores are also used by PSUs for recruitment purposes.
