DU’s School Of Open Learning to offer online undergraduate courses
Taking a step forward in the domain of distance education, DU’s School Of Open Learning has decided to offer undergraduate courses in online mode. The school is already offering undergraduate courses in distance mode. SoL is one of the four institutes whose proposal for the online course was approved by the UGC. The online course is aimed at attracting students from around the globe who will be able to access the course material from the university’s website.An official from the SoL told that the institute will upload the learning material by November and will start enrolling the students in the program from January 2020.The courses being offered by the SoL are -- BA, B.Com., BA English Honors, BA Political Science Honors, and B.Com. Honors. The same courses are offered by the SoL in distance (offline) mode.Meanwhile, students enrolled in the distance education courses of the institute are awaiting the results of the undergraduate courses. The exams were conducted in May and June and results are due in October.
