JEE Advanced registrations end today; Date extended for the students from Odisha
Today is the last date to register for the JEE Advanced 2019 exam. Candidates who have not registered for the exam yet are advised to complete all the formalities as soon as possible because the registration window will close on 5:00 pm. The admit cards for the exam will be released on May 20 and the exam is scheduled for may 27, 2019. Students can pay the application fee until may 10, 2019. Application fee for the SC, ST, PwD and Female candidates is INR 1300 and for the other candidates it is INR 2600. Payment of application fee can be made by using the Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking , E- banking or e-challan. Candidates can submit the fee through e-challan at the nearest SBI branch. According to the reports, 2,24,000 students will appear for the JEE Advanced 2019 exam this year. JEE Advanced 2019: Extension in registration date for the Odisha students Meanwhile, students from Odisha has been given an extension of 5 days because of the disruption in electricity and internet services due to cyclone Fani. Students from the Odisha state can now register for the JEE Advanced 2019 exam until may 14, 2019. In a letter to Union Human Resources Development Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had requested the Centre to extend the registration date of the JEE Advanced examinations by at least 10 days in the wake of Cyclone Fani.
