MHT CET 2019 begins the fresh counseling for the BE and BTech programs

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has begun the MHT CET 2019 counseling for various courses such as B Tech, BE, BPharm, Pharm D, and BHMCT from today i.e. June 24,2019. Candidates who wish to apply for the counseling can check all the details by visiting the official website -- cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates who had earlier registered for the counseling through SAAR portal will be required to apply again as a fresh candidate. The last date to register for the counseling is June 30, 2019. The document verification process will commence from June 25 and will end on July 1. As mentioned in the official notification "In view of numerous complaints received from the aspiring candidates regarding the technical problems in the registration process and many candidates could not register for the admission process, by considering grievances, quantum of candidates deprived from registration activity due to technical errors, the Admission Regulating Authority has decided to cancel and reschedule the entire Registration/CAP process which was notified vide notification No TED 1219/C.R.197/B. Arch-Admission Notice1/2019/1689, dated 16/06/2019." This year more than 4 lakh students registered for the MHT CET 2019 exam of which 3,92,345 students appeared for the exam. Refund of the counseling fees "Candidates who have registered for for B.E./ B.Tech. /B.Arch/ B.Pharm/Pharm. D. and B.HMCT by paying the application fee successfully during 17th June to 21st June 2019 are hereby informed that the application fees paid by such candidates will be refunded back within 2 weeks to the account from where the amount is debited,"-- reads the official notification.
