Ahead of the board exams (CBSE), the chairman addressed to students and parents via two separate letters. The letters are full of wisdom and offers some valuable advice and tips to both students and parents as it will help the students to face upcoming board exams. In a letter to the students, the CBSE chairman said that board exams are just a milestone in a long journey and in far off future the marks obtained here will not matter. Instead, what counts is your devotion and ability to commit to life long learning and values and skills which you acquire in your journey. In another letter to the parents, the chairman said that parents should not try to achieve their own goals through their child and instead empower them to face the life head on. Children should understand that success and failure and ups and downs are a part of life. Parents, who themselves have faced quite a lot of ups and down should not expect a one way road (upward) from their child. The board exams will start tomorrow. The board has taken the decision to hold the board exams early in February so as to give enough time to the students to prepare for the college admissions. The results of the board exams are expected to be released in the first week of the May.
