Application window for ISRO’s young Scientist program open
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is inviting allocations for the second edition of the Young Scientist Program. The application window for the same will open from February 3. The two-week long program will be held at ISRO’s centers located in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Shillong and Thiruvananthapuram from May 11-22. The main aim of the program is to impart basic knowledge to the students on space technology, space science and space applications to students. Students who have completed their class VIII and are studying in class IX are eligible to apply and the selection will be done on the basis of academic performance of the students and students from rural areas will be given special preference. The list of the selected students will be released in the last week of March.Students whoa re interested in applying for the program can visit the official website of ISRO — isro.gov.in.
