Results for UPTET 2019 exam released
The results of the Uttar Pradesh Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2019 exam have been announced. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can visit the official website — updeled.gov.in. Candidates will need their registration number to check the results. The exam was held on January 8 in two separate sessions.UPTET paper 1 was for the candidates who are interested in teaching lower primary classes and paper II was for the upper primary teachers. After the exam, UPTET released a provisional answer key and candidates were asked to submit the objections. After reviewing all the objections, the final answer key was released.According to the reports, the pass percentage in the UPTET exam has been awfully low. Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, Secretary, Examination Controller, said “in the primary level 29.74 percent candidates have cleared the exam and in upper primary level only 11.46 percent candidates have cleared the exam making the total pass percentage 23.41 percent.”Candidates who qualify the UPTET exam are allowed to apply for and appear in the teacher recruitment exam which is held by UP Basic Exam Board (UPBEB).
