CAT 2018 | IIM Calcutta to release admit cards tomorrow
This year, CAT 2018 exam is being conducted by the IIM Calcutta and according to the official schedule, the institute will release the admit cards for the exam tomorrow i.e. October 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm. The exam is scheduled on November 25, 2018 and will be at different test centers distributed among 147 cities of the nation. CAT exam is held to offer admissions to the candidates into various management programs offered by IIM Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bodh Gaya, Calcutta, Indore, Jammu, Kashipur, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Sambalpur, Shillong, Sirmaur, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur and Visakhapatnam. Once the admit cards are released, candidates can visit the official website of the exam -- iimcat.ac.in and download their respective admit cards. The total duration of the exam is 180 minutes and the exam is divided into three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. To solve each section, candidates are allotted 60 minutes after which that particular section gets locked and they will not be allowed to switch sections for another 60 minutes. The mock test for the CAT 2018 exam is also available on the official website of the CAT 2018 exam. Students who are appearing for the first time can use the link to familiarize themselves with the exam interface.
