NIFT opens registration window for admissions for the 2019 session

The admission process at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has begun for the academic session 2019. The online portal for the registrations will remain open until December 28, 2018. For any queries and support, candidates can end their emails at nift@applyadmission.net. The entrance to determine the eligibility of candidates is scheduled for January 20, 2019 and the results of the exam will be declared int he months of February/ March. NIFT is accepting the admissions in the following disciplines: Bachelor of DesignBachelor of Fashion TechnologyMaster of DesignMaster of Fashion ManagementMaster of Fashion Technology courses Candidates with 10+2 qualification are eligible for the Bachelor courses and candidates with graduation can apply for the Master’s degree. The upper age limit to apply for the Bachelor degree is 23 years and there is no such restriction for applying to the Master’s degree. Of the total seats available for the admission, 15% are reserved for the SC category, 7.5% for the ST category, 27% for the OBC category and 5% for the PwD category. Foreign nationals (living in India or abroad) and Non-resident Indians (have an Indian passport but temporarily reside in another country) who meet the qualification criteria are also eligible to apply. Their admission will be done on the basis of SAT/GMAT/GRE scores.
