Harvard students learning how to maintain healthy sleep in the highly competitive environment

Colleges are a place where students learn new skills and acquire new knowledge but it also a place where they lose sleep over assignments, deadlines, projects, tests etc. Colleges would be the last place on earth where students will be taught to sleep but, for the first time the class of 2022 at Harvard is being taught how important it is to have a good night sleep. For the first time, the first year students are being asked to complete ‘Sleep 101’ module. The module is a part of the Sleep Matters Initiative at BWH (Brigham and Women's Hospital) and is designed to increase the awareness about the sleep and its implications on health and performance. Apart from focusing on the benefits of a good night sleep the module also teaches tips and strategies on maintaining a healthy sleep schedule throughout your busy day.
