Kerala flood relief | ICAI set up a bank account to collect the funds



With Kerala floods destroying the lives of the natives, various organizations have come forward to help the people of the state. In this initiative, the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) has set up a bank account for collecting the funds for the people of Kerala affected by the floods. The funds will be donated to Kerala Chief Minister' Distress Relief Fund. ICAI has also published a notice in this regard asking all the members and students of the organization to donate generously for the cause through cheque or DD payable at New Delhi/Paytm drawn in the favor of 'ICAI Kerala Flood Relief Fund'. The institute has also requested the donors to give their name, membership number /student registration number, address, amount and date of contribution, PAN details (if any) so that the receipts of the donations could be obtained from the CHIEF MINISTER'S DISTRESS RELIEF FUND and can be forwarded to respective donors.
