Class 10th exam in Odisha to commence in February
On Tuesday, Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, President Ramashis Hazra announced that annual High School Certificate (HSC) Examination-2020 will commence from February 19, 2020. The exams will continue until March 2, 2020.Nihar Ranjan Mohanty, Controller of the Examination, said that the exams for all students such as regular, ex-regular, correspondence, state open school certificate and madhyama (Sanskrit) exams will be held on different days within the above-specified dates."The examinations for all papers will be held between 10 am and 12.30 pm every day, except the mathematics paper. An additional 15 minute time will be allotted to answer the mathematics paper", Mr Mohanty said. He also said that this year there will be no multiple choice questions in the exam.According to the sources, more than six lakh students are expected to appear for the exams from different streams.
