Official sample paper for long-form numerical questions (Math) released by NTA

The sample paper (Math) for the newly introduced long-form questions in the JEE Mains exam has been released by the National Testing Agency. Candidates can download the official sample from the official website -- nta.ac.in/jeemain.nic.in. This is the first time that long-form questions have been introduced in the JEE Main exam. Each section will have five long-form questions and there will be no negative marking for these questions.More than 9 lakh students have applied to appear for the JEE Main 2020 exam (January session). The exam will be held from January 6-11. For the April session, the exam will be held from April 9 to 13. The move came after various stakeholders criticized the objective nature of the exam and said that it is not the right way to assess the students and a holistic assessment system must be employed for the same. The JEE-Main exam is not only an entrance test for admission into various engineering colleges but is also a pre-requisite exam to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
