New Education Policy soon to be in Public domain
On Tuesday, HRD Minister said that the ‘New Education Policy’ will soon be in public domain and will take India on the path of Glory. HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said these words as he was addressing the Swachh Campus Ranking, 2019 award ceremony. He also appealed the students to save a liter of water every day and also encourage their near and dear ones to do the same.Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Secretary (Higher Education) R Subrahmanyam said that the new education policy will be put in the public domain very soon."We are in the very last stages of bringing out the national education policy which will be there with all of you, very soon. This education policy is going to modify the way we are implementing our education systems," he said.The ‘New Education Policy’ will bring very major changes in the education system of India and will benefit students, institutions and all the stakeholders alike, Mr. Subrahmanyam stated.Nearly 7000 higher educational institutions participated in the third Swachhata Ranking, 2019, of which 52 institutes were awarded in the clean and smart campus, one student one tree, Jal Shakti Abhiyan and Solar Urja Lamp categories.University Grants Commission Chairman D P Singh and head of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) Anil Sahasrabudhe were also present on the occasion.
