IIT JAM 2019 | Registrations for the exam to commence from tomorrow
According to the latest information, the registration process for the IIT JAM 2019 exam will commence from tomorrow. Earlier, the registrations were to commence from September 1 but due to some unknown reasons the process was postponed to September 5. This year, the organizing committee for the IIT JAM 2019 is IIT-KGP. The last date for the registration window to close is October 10, 2018. The exam is scheduled on February 10, 2019 and will be conducted in to sessions. It is a computer based test for Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology and Mathematical Statistics papers. The exam is conducted every year to grant full-time admissions in M.Sc. (Two Years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, M.Sc.- M.Tech., and other Post-Bachelor's Degree Programs at different IITs and Integrated Ph.D. Programs at IISc. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree with aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI 55%/5.5 are eligible to appear in the exam. The marks obtained by the candidate should not be rounded-off. For the candidates belonging to reserved classes the limit is 50%/5 (out of 10).
