NIMS university suspended four Kashmiri Origin students for anti-national sentiments
Four students of Kashmiri-origin were suspended by the NIIMS University officials after they posted anti-national messages on the instant messaging app as they celebrated the cowardly attack on the CRPF soldiers in which more than 40 martyred. All the students are studying in the second year of the National Institute of Medical Science (NIMS) and posted a pic in which they were celebrating the success of the Pulwama attack. In the suspension order, the NIMS registrar said,"You have posted an anti-national message on your WhatsApp for celebrating the killing of Pulwama terrorist attack martyrs. The university will not tolerate and strictly condemns such activities. The act is grave and serious in nature." A police official said “a case was registered against the four students following a complaint by the university administration”
