Madras University is now accepting applications for the undergraduate admissions

The online registration process for the undergraduate courses offered by Madras University has begun. The last date to submit the online registration form is May 3, 2019. The admissions will be done on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidate in class 12th exams. After the completion of the online registration process, candidates will be allotted online counseling date by the university. The selection of the candidates for the counseling will be done on the basis of the marks scored b the candidates in class 12th exams. Students are admitted into the university on the basis of the rules of Reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Various UG courses offered by the university and eligibility criteria BA Tamil/ BA Historical Studies: Applicant must have passed its class 12th exam from the recognized board. Bachelors in Computer Application: Applicant must have passed the class 12th exam from the recognized board and must have studied one of the following subjects -- Computer Science or Mathematics or Statistics or Business Mathematics. BCom General: Applicant must have passed the class 12th exam from the recognized board with Accountancy and Commerce as a compulsory subject. BCom Computer Application: Applicant must have passed the class 12th exam from the recognized board with Accountancy, Commerce and Computer Science as a compulsory subject. How to apply for the Madras University UG Admissions The admissions forms are accepted only through online application mode. Candidates can pay the application fee using any Debit, Credit card or by using the NET Banking. Before making the payment, candidates are advised to check all the entries filled in the form and make sure that they are correct. Once the form is submitted changes cannot be made in the form. Candidates must have a valid email id and working phone number for all the communication by the university in the future will be made using them. After the release of the class 12th results, candidates will be required to send their photocopies of Certificate of Class X and Class XII, passing certificate, transfer certificate and conduct certificate, Community Certificate and Aadhaar card to the principal of the college.
