Education in Delhi| Another fake education board discovered in Delhi
On Friday, Delhi Government warned the residents of the Delhi against another fake education board which is running its scam in the National Capital. Government once again clarified that there are only three relevant board which are operational in the National Capital and that Delhi does not have a education board of its own. Last week, the Directorate of Education (DoE) had released a list containing the names of the several fake boards operational in the National Capital in the interest of general public. “No board with the name of ‘Board of Adult Education and Training’ is recognized by the directorate,” a DoE order said on Friday. The department further clarified that there is no state board of government of Delhi. “Further, DoE which regulates government, private, unaided and aided schools in Delhi, does not grant any recognition to any board,” it said. “As far as Delhi is concerned, there are only three relevant boards – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS),” it added.
