NEET 2018 exam| Aspirants from Tamil Nadu angry over exam center allocations

Ever since the NEET exam can into existence, it has been in controversy for one or more reasons and this has become a norm. This year, the exam came into highlights over the issue of the examination centers allotted to the aspirants from the Tamil Nadu state. After the report of change of exam centers for the aspirants from the Tamil Nadu, the aspirants expressed their extreme discontent with the poor management over the Twitter. To add to the miseries of the aspirants, the decision came at the last moment. Because the authorities were unable to arrange for the adequate number of centers in the state of Tamil Nadu, more than 2000 candidates will have to other states such as Kerala and Karnataka and most unfortunate ones will have to appear for their exam in the state of Rajasthan. To ease down the anger of the aspirants, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami announced the monetary assistance of INR 1000 and compensation for the train fare, but to no avail as candidates were still angry. “This is an embarrassment for us (CBSE) too, as Tamil Nadu has always protested against NEET,” the official said. Last year, NEET came into collision with the state when one of the aspirants committed suicide when center decided to allocate colleges solely on the marks obtained in the NEET exam thereby, rejecting the scores of the state medical exams. Parents and students are calling the move unfair and demotivating.
