Students in a fix as Bihar rolled back the results of the medical counseling
After completing the seat allocation process for the first round, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has decided to cancel the allocation status and admissions done based on the first list. Following the process, the board has invited all the students to fill fresh choices for the allotment. The board has now opened the counseling registration window for the students who could not register for the counseling the first time. Release of the faulty seat matrix is being attributed to the rollback of the counseling results but the board has yet to release the official statement regarding the rollback. The most affected students after this are the students who have completed their admission process after the first list as under fresh allotment they may be allotted a college with lesser rank. Fresh registrations could also mean more competition during the seat allotment process. Students who could not register for medical counseling in Bihar can now register for the counseling from July 27 to July 29. The updated seat matrix will be released on August 2 and seat allotment result will be released on August 5, 2019.
