NTA released exam schedule for JEE Mains 2020 (January and April)
The exam schedule for the JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) Mains 2020 has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Like last year, the exam will be conducted in January and April. The application process for the same will commence on September 2, 2019 and will end on September 30, 2019. The admit cards for the exam due in January 2020 will be released on December 6, 2019 and the exam will be conducted in multiple sessions between January 6 and January 11, 2020. The tentative date of result release is January 31, 2020. The application process for the exam due in April 2020 will commence on February 7 and will end on March 7, 2020. The admit cards for the same will be released on March 16, 2020 and the exam will be conducted in multiple sessions between April 3 to April 9, 2020. The tentative date of result release is April 30, 2020. JEE Mains exam is conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering and architecture courses offered by NITs, IIITs and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes. The exam is also used to screen the candidates for JEE Advanced exam which is used for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses offered at IITs.
