Admission application date for Sainik School to end soon
The application process for admission in Sainik School is coming to an end soon. The last date to submit the application for admission in Sainik School is September 23. Students will be selected for admission through national-level entrance exam and the new academic session will commence in 2020. The entrance exam will be held for admission to classes 6 and 9. Students between the age of 10 to 12 years are eligible to apply for admission in class 6 and students between the age of 13 to 15 years are eligible to apply for admission in class 9. Sainik schools only admit boys however, Sainik School in Chhingchhip, Mizoram will admit girls to this year. The written exam will be conducted on January 5, 2020. The medium of examination for class 6 entrance exam English, Hindi and the recognized official language of the state. The entrance exam question paper for class 9 will be set only in English.The written exam for class 6 will be of 300 marks and for class 9 will be of 400 marks. More details regarding the exam will be released in due time.
