Registrations for GATE 2020 to end tomorrow
The registration window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will close on September 24, 2019. Candidates who still wish to apply for the exam and have not done can visit the official website and apply for the exam.According to the schedule released, the exam will be held on February 1, 2, 8 and 9 and will be conducted in 25 different subjects across the country including centers at abroad. The exam, in joint, is conducted by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).GATE is mandatory for the candidates who wish to pursue Master's programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture and relevant branches of Science from the institutions supported by the MHRD and other Government agencies.
