JIPMER 2020: Online Application for PG Entrance Exam opens

Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has opened the application window for the PG admission for the 2020 academic session. Candidates who are interested in pursuing PG from JIPMER can apply for the exam. The last date to apply for the exam is October 25, 2019. The hall tickets for the same will be released on November 13, 2019 and the exam is scheduled on December 8, 2019.Candidates who are interested in applying for the exam must ensure that they have a degree in MBBS or equivalent which is recognized by the Medical Council of India and candidate must have also completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/Practical training as on December 31, 2019.Candidates who fulfill the above-written criteria can apply for the exam by visiting the official website -- jipmer.edu.in.The application fee for the exam is INR 1600 for all categories except for the candidates who belong to SC/ST category. For such candidates, the application fee is INR 1200. Application fee for the foreign nationals is INR 3000 and OPH/PwD candidates are exempted from the application fee.The exam will be held in computer-based mode. The duration of the exam will be three hours from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and the exam will be held in one shift only.The exam will be conducted in English only and the examination paper    will have 250 questions out of which 100 will be from Basic Clinical Sciences, and 150 will be from Clinical Sciences.
