CBSE and Microsoft join hands to train teachers in technology



Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has joined hands with Microsoft to train teachers to improve and access Information & Communication Technology (ICT) in schools. Initially, 1000 teachers will be trained under the program. The Capacity building program will train the teachers to integrate and use modern digital technologies into their everyday teaching which will enhance the learning experience of the students.During the training, the teachers will be provided with a project-based learning environment so that they can gain in-depth knowledge and abilities to unlock the maximum potential of Microsoft Outlook 365.By the end of the program, the teachers will have learned how to use cloud-based tools and be comfortable in using Cloud Drive, Digital Story Telling, connect with global educators, planning classroom activities, use digital literacy tools, handle diverse learners in the classroom, create Bots using Microsoft Cognitive Services, and handle virtual sessions.
