Foreign students will be allowed to appear for the IIT Advanced exam directly
In an attempt to promote IITs as a global education destination, IIT Council has decided to exempt the foreign students from appearing for the JEE Mains exam. Foreign students who want to study in IIT will be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced exam directly. The rule applies to the students who are OCI cardholders.Among other reforms, the HRD Minister had approved the proposal of an early exit for the BTech students.
