Application process for the Goa CET 2019 exam begins
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa is now accepting the applications for the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2019. The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates for admission in various degree level courses in Engineering and Pharmacy. The last date to apply for the exam is March 30, 2019 and the exam is scheduled on May 8, 2019. The merit list for the engineering courses will be released based on the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in Physics and Mathematics and for the pharmacy courses it will be based on the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in physics and chemistry in GCET 2019. Candidates can only appear for the subjects in GCET 2019 which they have studied in class 12. Candidates whose primary subjects were Physics and Chemistry in class 12, the exam for them will be conducted on May 7, 2019 from 10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm respectively and for candidates whose primary subject is Mathematics, the exam for them will be conducted on May 8, 2019 from 10 am to 12 pm. The results of the exam are expected to be released by May 15, 2019.
