Karnataka CET 2019 dates postponed ahead of the Lok Sabha elections
Following the announcement of the Lok Sabha 2019 election schedule, the exam dates for the Karnataka entrance test have been revised by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Earlier, the exams were scheduled to commence from April 23, 2019 but will now commence on April 29, 2019. The exam is an entrance test for the class 12th and pre-university students to get admissions into medical, dental and engineering degree courses. All the above-mentioned exams are of 60 marks each. The timings for the Biology and Physics paper is from 10:30 am to 11:50 am and for the Mathematics and Chemistry paper is from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm. The test for the Kannada language will be conducted only in Bangalore and only for the Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. On Sunday, the Lok Sabha election schedule was announced by the Election Commission.
